We are dedicated to reducing senior loneliness and the burden of guilt felt by their loved ones trying to be present in each other’s lives. We believe meaningful digital presence should feel warm, personal, and effortless.
We will create a space where every older adult feels included in everyday life - even from a distance. While respecting their dignity, privacy, and innate desire not to impose.

What Makes Grandy’s Room Different?
A Single Private Chat Room - One room, centered around one person. The primary senior determines who joins their chat room, like a text thread that exists just for them. Within the room, loved ones can share messages, photos, and support.
Simple Emotion State Sharing - A gentle way for the primary senior to say how they are feeling. If a senior selects “Not Ok,” loved ones receive a notification so they can check in and be present.
Respecting People’s Schedule - Connection shouldn’t feel intrusive. Within the chat room, an availability roster helps loved ones know when someone is free - and when they are not.
